IF IT'S A FREE EVENT, WHY DO I NEED TO BOOK?
We have worked hard to find a way to have an official open day when our studio isn't designed for big, packed events. This is a special one-off occasion, so we're doing what we can to make sure everything tuns smoothly, and ensure visitors enjoy their time in the space. Your safety and comfort is our priority, so this is not a hangout event or a party. We've put pre-booked 90 minute time slots in place to ensure you have ample time to visit, and with only 12 "tickets" available per slot, it won't be overcrowded and overwhelming during your time at the studio.
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOR ENTRY AND BOOKINGS?
You will need to arrive during the time slot you have booked. Whilst you don't need to arrive bang on time, you will need to leave when the 90 minute time slot is up to allow the next time slot entry, so we suggest coming as on time as possible, especially if you are interested in artists services to ensure there's enough time for this.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Yes, of course, but we will not accept any plus 1's that arrive on the day who are not on the guestlist, so you need to book them on your time slot. For example, if you want to attend the 12:30-1:00pm slot, please select the quantity as '2' under this variant, and then include your friends name in the order notes so we can add them to the guestlist. Please ensure the name on your "shipping address" (remember nothing will be shipped to you, this is a free digital product) is your correct, full name so we can add your name to the guestlist too.
As this is an intimate event with limited slots available, to make it as fair as possible, we only allow a maximum of 2 people per booking. If you are in a larger group of people wanting to attend, you will have to make separate orders. Any orders for more than 2 people and/or multiple time slots will be cancelled.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Due to licensing and insurance, our studio is 18+ at all times, so i'm afraid no children are allowed to this event.
HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY TICKET?
You do not need a digital or physical ticket to enter the event, you just need to reserve a time slot. You will receive 2 emails after you book a time slot, one being a standard order confirmation (please ignore the part about receiving an email when your order is on the way as this is a digital product and nothing will be sent to you). The next email will be a digital download with all the information you need for the event. Effectively your order confirmation is your "ticket" - so simply place an order for your chosen time slot, and your name will be added to the guestlist. Bring ID with you on the day so we can match it to our guestlist.
CAN I CHANGE MY TIME SLOT?
Please ensure you're certain which time slot you want to book before you place your order, as we won't be able to make any changes if time slots are fully booked. If your new desired time slot is available to book, you are able to go ahead and do this, but please let us know so we can cancel your original time slot and let this be available to someone else. If you can no longer attend please email us so we can cancel and make the space available.

Please refer to the photos to check out our artists and what they're offering on the day! All artists are working on a walk in basis for this event, therefore no bookings are required.
HOW DO I FIND THE STUDIO?
173 The Rock, Bury, BL9 0NE - just search JXY Studios on maps and you should find us! We are located bang in the middle of Bury Town Centre, so very easy to find. We're about a 10 minute walk from Bury Interchange, where regular trams run from Manchester City Centre. There is also an affordable car park behind the studio (Paradise Mill Car Park), or The Rock shopping centre is located just opposite us.
IS THE STUDIO WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes! We are a ground floor shop so wheelchair users are more than welcome. There is a small step up into the studio, but we'd be more than happy to assist your entry if required.
